I recall seeing the information for Canada within a day or two of the pricing release, so my guess it should not be long before you get the info.

$51,700 sounds like an excellent price. I hope we start seeing road tests soon...

Just spoke to my dealer. Not great news, he said that they will probably be selling the M2 at MSRP or even with a premium. That would make a 52k car lease for more than my 70k car lol.

With 0 due at signing, MSRP of 52,695, 7% sales tax, $800 a month. Even with 3000 due at signing its still 720 a month. Unless I can find a dealer that will discount off MSRP, I don't see me getting this car.

Is that when the journalists will actually be taking test drives or when the embargo on publishing test drives ends?

this makes no sense. let's just hope your dealer is talking out of their rear ends

How does it make no sense? I ran the numbers myself.

That is CRAZY!

We saw that when the M4 came out, so it will take another 2 years till start seeing people getting it for 1K over the invoice

Personally, if the M2 cost is the same as M3, M3 all day long.

^^^^This

I'm very interested in this car, with a bunch of M Performance parts. But if it leases stock for within range of my current M4, I'll be "upgrading" to an M3

I think their plan is working, because i was all on the m2 bandwagon but if these swirling rumors are true then i would go the m3 direction as well (or maybe not even BMW anymore at all--depending on the deal)

ive talked to a few in the LA area that said they would do MSRP, but that was a month ago.

i've actually told a few i'd do MSRP and that was it, and already have credit forms etc filled and ready. go find a dealer that doesnt suck, there are what 10 dealers in the socal area, and you can do san diego or santa barbara too. don't go to the convenient ones, (south bay and santa monica, i think basically just suck in every possible way)

I've kicked the tires with four different dealers in my area and all of them said that they will charging a premium, or "adjustment" as they put it.
