Will there be a 5.8 for 91 octane?

Hi

Thank you for reaching out to us. The update was done only for stage 2 maps. Stage 1 had no issues.

Best,
Serge

If you're going to do the big rocks this winter no point in getting in there since it's a horrible job to do.

Regarding knock, I stopped running the 93 tune because no matter how much boostane used I saw it regularly on my logs around 6k, which was a bit worrisome. Never figured out if its phantom or not since the timing rarely corrected for it and the car felt perfect.
Are you running an off the shelf map or a custom tune?
This is awesome news about the inlet, thank you!

I’ve been using it for about a week now and it does produce power as advertised all the way to redline. I have no dyno data just time using version 5.7 prior to this on the street. I’m using Stage 2 93 oct AGG OTS 5.8 for reference.

I updated yesterday and haven't had time to test that much. I using the stage 2 93 oct map. I tried the car after update and it's hard to say if there is a noticeable difference or not. regarding to the sport display it's like 450hk but I assume that the sport display is noting to relay on

I wasn’t under the impression that it produced more total power than 5.7, but allowed the engine to continue to produce power all the way to redline. The power output does feel very linear to me when winding up the first few gears on hard pulls. Unfortunately I don’t live near any roads where I can triple the speed limit to test further.

The reason for the updates is due to the limitation of the turbine efficiency. On 5.7 stage 2 93 and E30 OTS maps I saw power drop on dyno where the stage 2 91 octane actually made more power!

So I made some changes allowing more turbine on those maps and the result is a solid and stronger topend!

Quick Noob question. I just purchased BM3. About to flash my first map. I'm running 94 octane and a catted Fabspeed down pipe. Any suggestions on what the best map I can run. There seems to be multiples of the same maps.

thanks for any help.

Run ACN 91, you are in BC and the fuel quality is poor.

94 regardless of brand in Western Canada is pretty crappy, if you aren't prepared to run 1/3 can of Boostane Professional in every tank I'd stick with the ACN maps. Watch for the pop sound if you haven't changed your charge pipe yet from OEM.

My butt dyno says I’ve got less power (“area under the curve”) in the lower and mid rpm ranges..where I personally most want / need it...with the 5.8, from what I had with 5.7, and thinking about swapping back. Anyone ??
You would have to have logs to compare before and after...or a dyno.

.....or dragy data to see if rolling times are better or worse between V5.7 & V5.8
