Grey, Sorry to hear about the hospital issue. Get well quick so you can spend more time in your M2. By the way, you got good taste in cars. I used to have and 04 G35C

was well kept G when it was always home, but when it turned into my daily work car.....lotsa stuff was attracted to it..... disheartening. Still runs great only thing major was tires and a compressor belt.

STILL love the G.

How does the BMW dealership here on the Islands react to bolt on mods??? I bought stuff but just have not had time to put it on.....yet....maybe after my 1200 mile run in.
let me know.

I'm not really sure as this is my first BMW. I put my Fabspeed sport cat on after the 1,200 mile service and drive less than 5,000 miles a year, so I'll find out on my annual service date, sometime in July.

Grey, Just took my car in for annual service, oil change (drive only about 4,500 miles a year). Fabspeed sport cat on and some coding stuff (asd delete). No comment or issues from service dept.

But they recommended $550, fuel system/injector cleaning, plus $209 tire alignment. Recommended service intervals by BMW at 6,000 miles I politely refused.

Bmw of Honolulu is pretty mod compliant. I took my car in fbo(catless downpipe), with bootmod3 and some aftermarket coding. I would say as long as you have a good relationship with your service advisor and your mods don't directly cause the damage to the vehicle you should be fine. Theres always a risk you take though when modifying your car.

Sounded nice, do you have an exhaust on it?

Also on Saturday, I noticed an LBB M2 with carbon spoiler & other bits on Kilauea Ave, you too?

I typically run 3 days a week in the Kaimuki/Palolo area as I live there.
