I'd do the same, but I can't get KW rebuilt locally where I live. Would cost around 900-1k USD + downtime everytime to get them sent to Germany.

Might still be worth it if I only have to rebuild them every 2-3 years or so.

I know guys with clubsports that have not needed rebuilds even after 30k .

You can repair states side if you live there .

Bump. It looks like these kits are now widely in stock. Has anyone tried these TTX? If so, what are your impressions? Thank you!

I've recently spent a bit of time working with Barry at 3DM to put together a TTX setup for my M2 comp. I received them earlier this week and am very excited to put them on the car. It's worth noting that these are a not, in fact, the Ohlins packaged product (and I didn't have to wait until November of this year)—they are hand-built by Barry to spec and that's pretty cool. The benefit is a package that meets your needs—for me this meant Vorshlag camber plates for a low stack height, swift springs at the rates we wanted, and valving to match.

The price point isn't far off what an MCS 2-way remote package would have cost but after spending some time researching dampers, and having a good experience with my R&T setup, I decided that the TTX setup was the route for me. I hope to put together a little write up on my thoughts/experiences at some point and why I made the decision I did sooner than later. Until then I can try to answer any questions, but if it's something you're considering, I'd reach out to Barry. He's a BMW guy whose done a number TTX setups for both M2CSR and M2s.

How does one sign up for these Advanced Track Days that Ohlins are organising?

Tell us more once you have these on! I just ordered a set of TTX for a Honda S2000 track car to replace some DFVs. Would like to live vicariously through you.

Ohlins will have their factory TTX Pro Advance Track Day kit soon. Still trying to get a landing date from them.

Nice—TTX on an S2000 should be an amazing setup! I plan to write up my experience after I get them sorted and on track (middle of May at the latest). I do believe this is a viable option for people but isn't as well known as the various 3-letter monotube brands.
