Wow just checked back in a day later and look what happened.

I guess to get this back on track - I find the stock suspension to be compliant over most bumps.

With coilovers I assume OP will drop the car at least .5", and I can tell you from experience that will set your two steps back in improving ride quality. It will get you nice improvements on the track, but I've found the stock suspension to be plenty of fun out there.

If your goal is cranking down good lap times, this honestly isn't the right car. There are endless options at our price point. How about a nice Exige S? Or a GT350?

OP should replace the nitrogen in his tires with helium. Then the "crashy" suspension will feel "floaty." Will also make the car weigh less.

Oh dam... Savage bro! I thought crashy came from that other guy who called me immature but he's got a point there

But you can't check to really be sure that its nitrogen because then you'd void the warranty.

OP should test drive the old SL65 AMG Black Series.

The suspension in that car makes our M2C suspension feel like Rolls Royces.

P.S. Nitrogen

You are all wrong. I fill my tires up with liquid nitrogen. The ride is awesome.

Bit like snap crackle and pop.

Ummm... maybe this was covered earlier, but OP knows ambient air is almost 80% nitrogen right? Also, the nitrogen that goes into your tires is like 95% pure. The difference is negligible.

nitrogen has been the biggest marketing move with zero benefit that i’ve seen in a long time. I’m baffled when people tell me they’re using nitrogen. I thought it was some kind of internet meme but people in person told me they do this lmao

I use Nitrogen all the time when I go diving.

No, wait. Cancel that.

It's Nitrox.

(although I'm a big fan of breathing 78.09% nitrogen in my daily life).

Bwhahahaaaaa!

No. I'm fine in quarantine. Why do you ask?

I know this thread has gone pointless, but I just have to quote this passage from the very article used as some kind of support for Nitrogen being more pressure stable.

https://www.popularmechanics.com/car...ogen-in-tires/

"Both air and nitrogen respond similarly to The Ideal Gas Law, which says temperature and pressure are directly related. For tires, this means every ten-degree change in ambient temperature will result in approximately 1 psi change in tire-inflation pressure. This change is the same for nitrogen-inflated tires and tires inflated with air. Proper inflation pressure is key to tire safety and performance."

nononono you don't understand. OP knows what he's talking about. He's been using nitrogen in all his cars.
