Centre Silencer Delete

Hi all, has anyone removed the centre silencer ( the small silencer before the back box ) and replaced it with straight through pipes ? Just traded in my LCI OG for a new Competition and it's so quiet in comparison, I know it's down to the OPF's but my standard exhaust on my OG was quite loud and had a lot more "presence" about it, the Competition doesn't seem to burble either ( mileage at the moment is only 385 so obviously haven't had the RIS done yet if that changes anything ? ) so I'm just seeing if there is a way of making the exhaust sound a tad louder and more noticeable, unfortunately cannot justify an aftermarket exhaust at the moment - thanks all
