N55 E30 power gains over pure petrol?
As suggested, I'm curious as to the power gains of a BM3 stage 2 versus BM3 Stage 2 with E30 fuel mix?
Has anyone measured a before and after power difference between the tune/fuel change? Ideally, just BM3 OTS maps. Thanks in advance. |

Not much difference these days bc the OTS Stg 2 93 map has been tuned very well, and the stock HPFP can’t handle E30 at an elevated power level. The big difference is power level when IATs are >100F. 93 octane falls off rapidly, while E30 keeps power levels up.
However, I happen to be helping with something a bit interesting at the moment if you decide to install an aftermarket HPFP and want to run E30-50. More to come soon... |

Here's a virtual dyno that I ran some logs through. Note I was having HPFP issues with the E30 mix so I think that's why the power up top isn't as good.
E85 is with stage 2 Dorch HPFP. Though the tune is still being revised and it's not boosting properly up top, thus that tapering off. |
