BMW M2 CS breaking-in service (2000km/1200miles) (VIDEO)
German YouTuber Matthias Malmedie (GRIP) completed the breaking-in period - in full accordance with the factory specifications - of a BMW M2 CS kindly offered by BMW M (by BMW M boss Markus Flasch personally - earlier 'taking delivery' video: see here).
In this video (33:05) he brings the car to a BMW dealership for the breaking-in service (2000km/1200miles). 12:25-19:45: BMW dealership sequence:
29:25-30-32: donuts & drifting Conclusion: he's clearly 'over the ///Moon', loving the car to bits.

The video does not feature a close-up of the soaking wet driver's seat.

I've always wanted this one as well since it has an attachment for the BMW oil container. I've never been able to find it for purchase though.

A few things, I wish I knew what he was saying since it looks interesting. I would not dip my hand in any of those fluids / oils, they are a known carcinogen, use gloves!

I've never seen diff fluid like that? They are smiling so I assume it's all good. Then again I've never done the break in service myself. I do all the work after 50k

I thought it must be the "break in" lube and assembly grease. All that gets flushed out, then the normal stuff goes in. It didn't look like it would last very long. Very neat to see and demonstrates why the break-in period is necessary and the break-in service.
