I just changed my order from Alpine White/Black 763Ms to Black Sapphire Metallic/Black 763Ms. Not sure if Artemis or another mod can change my "vote" in the poll. My most recent two sports cars, including my GT3 Touring, have been black and, quite frankly, I promised myself never again! And I *love* Alpine White (my last M3) and think it will be stellar on the M2 CS -- a classic BMW Heritage color that will make all of the beautiful carbon bits pop. But what can I say...some of the photos of the M2 CS in black/black just got to me, so here I am with another black car on the way

. I guess I better start strategizing now as to how to make more time for cleaning!

I hear you. I didn't want to be drawn to black but what can I say. I plan to buy a 650cfm blower for drying. I thought about a mineral filter for the water supply to reduce water spots. I'm not a fan of cleaning cars, so whatever makes it easier will likely be added to my system. The ceramic coating should help.

I've been using an EGO 56 volt battery powered leaf blower for years to blow probably 99% of the water off the car before getting the last few drips with a towel. I have Ceramic Pro on my M2 so water always beads up and blows off easily and, if you have "hard" water in your area, before any spots can form It wouldn't work nearly as well on unwaxed or untreated paint.

I'm in Australia so this may not matter at all.

There is one colour I really love in a car; any shade of white.

My order for the first 18 months or so was AW but when at code-150ish stage, my son said, "Aren't you sick of white by now?" To indulge him, and given MB was an exclusive CS colour with the F87, I took that one instead at the last minute.

The only regret I may have with this decision is keeping it clean I guess.

My every car since 2002 has been white except two which didn't last long as I got tired of washing them every few days.

I was an early voter here and had put my order in as MB/black. I later changed to MB/gold. So the latter is even more dominant than the statistics indicate.
