It improves airflow considerably

No need to retune your car

Actually they do it on their own

It's just a better breathing air box for the most part

There is no gain whatsoever in an after market intake for the M2. Especially since the Dinan stuff is always over priced.

Certainly not required when adding any tune. The OEM intake is quite well designed.

You also need to cut a brace for the Dinan air intake to fit.

It's only $450usd so it's a deal IMO

And it's actually a better designed air box vs the factory air box

The factory box will flow more than you'll need.

Factory air box is quite good, especially since they added extra inlets on the bottom half to increase air flow into the box. There are no gains to be had on the stock turbo, and I have even seen some users experience no gains on stage 2 turbos. TBH intakes are more for the noise and bling.

A turbo inlet would be more beneficial since that is a huge bottle neck.

It's the driver's side brace that is cut. I just switched back to the stock airbox from my Dinan. I was very happy with the Dinan air intake, I did the carbon fiber brace retro fit and the Dinan air intake wouldn't allow for the carbon fiber brace to fit correctly. I am still debating on whether to sell or keep it. The sound is amazing.
