However, the stock 245 is stretched on the 9" wheel. If anything protrudes past the outside it will be the rim protector portion of the tire. I don't think that the rim protector of the 275 on the 10" wheel will stick out further than the protector of the 245 on the 9" wheel. If you are comparing tread widths, the top of the wheel will have a 30mm total difference, or 15mm per side. However the widest part will still be at the rim or the tire protector on the rim. That said, after doing a quick search I found a thread where they tested the 18x10 et33 EC-7 with 275/35/18 on a F82 M4 and they cleared the suspension. Seeing as the M2 utilizes a lot of the same suspension components the et33 with 275 might actually work. |

I can snap a couple pics tomorrow morning for you. But if you're referring to the position of the shaft in the the mount, I know for a fact that it is centered. |

David@ActiveAutowerke can you confirm on closed-deck block ? S55 or N55 turbo ?
Same TMAP/MAP as M235 so the Active8 fitted no problem right ? I saw the Dyno 337/398 on your testing with box on, only 7whp+ gain but a whooping 54wtq+ before broke-in looks promising! What would be the equivalent of this on dynojet ? 330/344 Mustang Stock around 355-360whp/365-375wtq ?

I loved my 1M and before I took possession of the M2 I was worried that had I made a mistake on transmission choice but as of right now, I'm hooked and not really sure if I would go back or not, if given the choice, especially if they keep improving it. BTW, the speed of the shifts would more than make up for a 10 HP difference.

Hey all! Sorry for the lack of updates but we were busy at the track this past weekend!
We had the car at Sebring and to be honest I think it's the most fun stock car I've driven around the track. The crew from BC Racing also came out to shoot some video so within the next week or so they should have some great footage of the car putting down some laps. All in all the weekend went great, and the only issue we ran in to was with the brakes. The stock pads clearly are not track pads, and were not sufficient enough to even finish the weekend. We're already working on a brake solution and should have some more information soon enough. That said, here's a shot of our M2 next to my student's M235i! I was able to drive the M235i and the M2 back to back so I'll have some comparison notes to add in to the full review once we get the video back from BC Racing. Stay tuned! For a sneak preview of one of our Sebring laps, check out the video on our Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/ActiveAutowerke/ Last edited by David@ActiveAutowerke; 05-04-2016 at 02:23 PM.. |

Looking forward to the full write-up and more video footage. When you say the stock pads weren't sufficient, do you mean you wore through them already or just that they didn't provide enough stopping power? How many laps/hours did they last?

We have some new race pads on order so we'll see how they do. I'm scheduled to be at Homestead Miami Raceway on the 14th. |
