Servicing M2 at BMW with aftermarket exhaust?
Hi all,
Sorry if this is a common topic, but I couldn't find any answers (only ones relating directly to warranty). Does anyone know what would likely happen if I took my M2 Competition, with an aftermarket cat-back exhaust ('Miltek GPF-back equal length'), to get its BMW service? Would the dealer potentially refuse to service my car? Put me on a naughty list? Service is due in March 2022. I don't know if I should budget for book-ending my service with an OEM exhaust swap, or whether I should just not be concerned. *Edit*: if anyone knows a BMW dealer (in or around North West England) who wouldn't bat an eyelid at this, I'm all ears Last edited by joecritch; 05-04-2021 at 08:55 AM.. |

Just take it to a good independent instead and get them to use genuine BMW parts and update the service history in idrive, cost you less £ and no flagging of the car for warranty purposes.
