Are you starting from exactly 100kmph? For having hybrid turbos your time does seem a bit slow. I would start at 60-70 km so by the time youre going 100 you are already moving to get an accurate time.

you have an exhaust from OG m2?
pics?

I start at 70km/h.
The time corresponds to power, stage2h ron95 550hp on dyno.

Stage2h ron98 607hp
Stage2h racegas 622hp

Hm, i wonder if that exhaust is hindering your performance considering a stock s55 exhaust is a true dual setup.

I know 7's 100-200 is pretty common on stock turbo 93 octane maps.

i don't think the exhaust is hindering, because an M4 with same turbos gave the same result on the same dyno.

91 octane and 93 are not the same, it is possible 7.X with stock turbos 93 octane and DKG, 91octane 6mt it is difficult.

If you are in EU, I thought that 98 RON (93 AKI) was easily available? Or are you avoiding that map for other reasons?

I like 91aki map, it's not aggressive, enough for me.

Stage2h ron98

100-200 6.8sec

Nice.

Mine is Stage 2 MHD tuned 'by phone' LOL and I have the crank hub fix plus 'better' sparkplugs.
But no downpipe(yet).
Last spring I did a Dragy 100-200kmh time(starting from '80' or whatever) in 7.29s
DCT (GTS software)
Probably running 540-550BHP crank and 700 ish Nm torque.

Normally the 100-200kmh sprints are 7.5-8.0s irl which is still pretty fast.
And DCT helps a lot vs manual.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers
Robin

Sorry but the numbers are not impressive for a hybrid turbo setup.

I just did a 100-200 test, stock turbo’s BM3 98 Ron STG 2 DCT and did 6.5
This was from 80 in 3rd gear becouse second gear couldn’t get traction on the CUP 2’s
I’ll try with my Nankang AR-1 next time.
Probably could do a 6.2-6.3

By the way 100-220 I was a car length ahead of a 992 turbo

Sorry but I don't care if the numbers are impressive or not, nor have I asked if they are.

The point is that with hybrids you should be getting better results than with the std turbos otherwise what’s the point of upgrading turbos?

You should ask protuningfreaks this question, with a custom map you get more than 100hp of difference between stock and hybrids, and the other difference is that stock turbos with stage 2 can die at any time, in my case they were mounted to prevent premature breakage and eliminate excess torque at low revs.

I don't believe that stock turbos would just die out in stage 2 unless you were really pushing the turbo on that map with no regards to when it's working outside of its efficiency range for an extended amount of time.

Now running stock turbos on a 2H map where the tuning strategy is geared towards working with hybrid turbos then yeah, you're more on the edge of killing a pair of stock turbos that way.

Most important note though I agree with you I don't get hung up on these numbers anymore, the graphs tell a much better picture in how you're getting to whatever number you logged. I'd rather consistency if the hardware doesn't need to push 90% into its efficiency to get there. Glad you're happy with your results that you have, I care not for the numbers just the experience you're having along the way

I've seen everything on s55 oem turbos with stage2 tune, from axial play to turbine breaks:

Impressive, I run same map, decat and cup 2s.

I can't break traction in 1st let alone 2nd with cup 2s unless deliberate provoking.

Pss and ps4s would spin in 3rd, warm cup 2s nothing, solid.
