Any experience with Millway STREET camber plates?

Reviews?

Personal knowledge?

Considering them, but concerned about noise. But since they've got a polyurethane bushing instead of a monoball, Millways says "Reduces noise from suspension and tires compared to uniball version."

My last plates caused a lot of noise, so I'm planning to not run camber plates on the new MP-Suspension that's being installed next month. My shop is advocating against plates as it's an 80+% street car, and I really don't want it to sound like a bucket of bolts.

But, the Millway STREET may be a different breed of cat?

I've seen the video on plate comparison, but it only mentions the STREET for a few seconds.

Opinions? Personal knowledge?

TIA--

General consensus on this forum is they are quiet albeit a tad less maximum camber than the spherical version.

I have a video on the Millway Street plates too (F2x/F3x version). Also, there's a https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh... camber plates in the F3x forum that has a lot of info.

I run the Millway street camber plates on stock dampers and KW HAS

IMO absolutely no noticeable noice from the camber plates compared to stock

although I have that annoying clicking sound from the driver left side when going slow, probably because of the HAS springs, didn't figure it out yet

Thanks guys-- I put in an order direct from Sweden, so hopefully they'll show up before my M2C goes under the knife.

I'll be running these with the MP-Suspension, Apex wheelset and 255/275 MP4S's/Cup 2's.

I've done 20K km with Millway Street plates on Ohlins R&T, still zero noise. I posted this recently which might be of interest with your M2C.

I had Millway Street camber plates paired with 3 options:
- M2C OEM suspension
- M2C MP coilovers
- M2CS OEM suspension

Everything is good in terms of noise. Planning to buy a second set to put those on M2CS on a permanent basis.

Excellent-- thanks! Car's in the shop as I type getting the MP coilovers and the Millway Street's installed.

Pop over to the thread on camber plates I have now driven 500 miles on the street plates after accurate fitment by Litchfield on Litchfield suspension

Turn in similar possibly better in corner grip improved, at 2.4 minor camber sensitivity, but no problem less than my GT3 running 2.5, steering accuracy improved, especially mid corner

But, simply unacceptable nvh, feels cheap and harsh. Noise greatly increased much worse than the GT3, they are coming off. Overall much nicer without

It also feels imbalanced as it’s harsh at the front and damped at the back

Well, this is nice. I've got exactly opposite "real world" feedback saying both "They're great, no noise" and "They're horribly noisy".

The car's disassembled in the shop-- I guess we'll find out how the Millway Street's work with the M-P coilovers soon enough.

May be the different opinions are because they're based against a different start/reference point.

When I said above 'no noise' I meant no knocking or rattling anywhere after 20K km on the Millway Street plates (which I gather with monoballs would not be the case). The ride is a little harsher over pot holes/large bumps but that's to be expected as the oem top hat has a big rubber bushing that the strut is mounted to. It's an acceptable compromise for me, no different to the slight NVH increase with the Auto Solutions SSK.
