X compatibility of G8x front arms on an F8x….

Thinking if G8x LCA and TS/UCA might be longer than F8x and potentially be an oem solution for some added front camber ??

SPL has a good adjustable length aftermarket solution. I am sure you already know that.

The SPL LCA will get you to about -2.4deg at stock ride height. Front track width increase is 1".

I'd go with the SPL caster adjustable monoballs over the full SPL tension strut arm. Unfortunately I've seen too many failures of their tension strut arm on track (leading to trashed cars) to trust them myself...

Just for added camber, the lower arms are fine. We have never sold the tubular version of the tension arm, always the adjustable or none adjustable bushing only.

I was not aware of the high failure rate of the tubular arms from SPL.

I'm not aware of these failures either. Can the OP elaborate on what he's seen?

Start at 11:19.

Shortly after making that video I met a guy at a C&C who told me the same thing happened to his friend in SoCal recently while he was on the big bank at ACS. He showed me the video of the failure and resulting crash.

Wow, thank you for sharing. I wonder if SPL is aware, they will need to beef that arm up or stop selling it if can't take load on track.
