I like the smaller, shorter wheelbase in the F87 - the F80 is a little too big for my liking, but it is a great car. Just depends on what your wants and needs are for the car.
I have the 2015 F80 and honestly I don't see it or feel it's a big car. But I will say I like the fact that the M2 is smaller, it's one of the reasons I would be making the move. Since the G80 it looks to be a little bigger than the F80 then the F87 is getting my attention. I like to mod all my cars so I'm interested in getting the M2CS when production is ending to get all those nice discounts...we'll see.

I think it is an individual thing. Personally I found that the M4 felt like a nice car but big. It's a nice fast cruiser. Give me the M2C any day for the twisties which is what I like.

The discounts and friendly M3/M4 lease numbers won’t be offered on the M2CS. Be prepared to pay up.

I'm pro adaptive suspension on M2CS in case that wasn't obvious.
Magnetic dampers are in a different league than BMW adaptive dampers. Far superior tech.

If those vehicles have been sitting on the lot for awhile like the M3/M4 CS did I'm pretty confident they will be marked down so the dealer can make a unit sale...

Ah but that's early days. Savy bargains were around at the end of the UK pre registered M3CD allocations . They could be had for well spec'd M3Comp money.

Time will tell but I've yet to see any BMW in the UK not have 20%+ discount at sole point as launch prices are so ludicrous. The only thing that varies this is long in the model life this is available for. M2/3/4CS a couple of cancelled orders at each dealer maybe as someone renegs in an £80k+ car.

If you are expecting one of those cheap CS lease deals over on the M3/M4 forum, you can forget about it with the M2CS. The M2 lease numbers simply won't allow it, regardless of the discount. I don't see them sitting on lots, like the overpriced $100k+ M3/M4 CS. If BMW prices the M2CS $90k+ plus options, then that could lead to inventory sitting on lots. Priced right and with that manual option, this will be the BMW drivers car to own.

M2 and M3/M4 markets are completely different.

Yes they are different but...Respectfully I'll disagree for the UK market I live in.

People said the OG M2 was semi limited run. That was available at discount, pre reg etc and cars dat in dealers. My local at one point had 4 unassigned cars onsite.

Same for the M2C. Fine car. Fine upgrade. Same is happening. My local dealer already has 2 pre reg cars for sale and it's early days.

Same for the M3/4CS cars. Initially very high £90k pricing. The last ones sold for cracking deals. Too guy here on Bimmerpost I think did well and would agree with what I'm saying Colinv6

I'm not saying it is a certainty the M2CS will be available reduced but I'm happy to wait out and see.

Again I do appreciate the picture is. Why different overseas and in the US. Here in the UK the M2 really is just another series car, less of them but STILL the discounts do come.

Your right Chris, I got around £20k off my new unregistered M4CS and 0%, however, 6 months and 3600 miles later, I’m still around £16k in neggy!

Quite scary really! Sometimes think I should have gone for plan a, which was a mint e92 comp pack. However, the 4CS is incredible! The figures take a bit of swallowing

Agreed - I was actually looking at my F80 vs. the OG M2 in the garage last night, and when you look at them right next to one another, the size difference is pretty surprising. The F80/82 is considerably larger, which we have all known of course, but looking at them in that situation really highlights the difference.

As long as it is taking for the M2CS to make it to market, BMW appears to (once again) be artificially limiting the access to the car. Aka, I don't think they're going to make many of the M2CS, and certainly not enough to sit around on lots. Just a guess...

I agree it will be the drivers car to own. I never lease anyways. I think if I'm patient enough and maybe toward the last few months of the vehicles lifecycle I could get a good deal.

I'm convinced these videos are all part of marketing even if it isn't BMW filming. The driver is pumping gas and never asks them to stop filming. Notice how there is no video of the interior even though it would have been possible to capture video. Great to get close-ups though.
