M2 looks better without spoiler?

I may be alone with this opinion and now I wish I had taken a few photos. When I removed my original spoiler ready to install the m performance I couldn't help but think how good the car looked without one, the lines just seemed to flow more on the rear. I mean, If I was sure the spoiler didn't help stabilise the car at high speeds then I might of just left the thing off...

Then its probably safe to remove it. I doubt you will see speeds that it will make any difference. Thats my 2 cents

I would have driven around without one for a few days to see the difference. I highly doubt any of us would feel any difference with or without it.

I was actually thinking the same thing! I'm about to remove my stock spoiler for the m performance boot spoiler and it crossed my mind that the car might look good without any spoiler !

I already know just driving around it would make no difference. On track braking hard from 140+ mph is a different story. I'd hate to be in that situation thinking 'would that lip spoiler of helped prevent this' just before impact

That's what mine looked like in between removing and adding a new one!

Don't have any better ones from further away.

How are you liking the m performance spoiler? I'm having seconds thoughts on the m performance spoiler install and might just keep the original spoiler.

I think the only difference is color vs carbon. I have the M Performance spoiler.

I like the look for sure, and honestly a little spoiler like the stock one is likely more about drag reduction than downforce, but you just never know (see: 1st gen Audi TT.) I'd roll around without one and never think twice about it but notably I do not plan on tracking my car and i'm not realistically ever going to get above 120 mph or so. If I planned on spending time at 130+ in the car, i'd probably leave the tiny lip spoiler on just to be extra safe about stuff.

I like it, it's slightly larger than the original and looks more purposeful. The carbon also looks amazing with hockenheim..
