The previous headrests folded down so as not to obstruct rear vision.

The new ones do also...look at the button on the lower side.

This is interesting. The rear seats in the pic look the same to me as the current ones in the M2. The leaked VINs indicated that the back sport seats did not have folding headrests. Artemis?

Non of the leaked M2 Competition VIN specs features code 5DC (folding headrests) and/or 4AE (retractable armrest front).

However, the VIN generated pictures (as well as official M2 Competition pictures) now show both features (but don't list those).

On the Competition however are more available options ticked: M Sport seats, M Sport brakes upgrade, M Drivers package.
Over here in Belgium, for the oldskool M2, AW was included in the base price (€0). BSM, MG and LBB were €678 (VAT excl.) or €820 (VAT incl.).

Is AW included in the M2 Competition base price ? And what's charged now for BSM, LBB, Sunset O and HS ?

Anyways, fully kitted out M2 Competition (including M-DCT) (almost €83K) = close to M3 (6MT) base price (€81K). So that's good news.

Those are definitely not the M4 rear seats. They look like standard M2 rear seats to me too.

They are not. Seems like the cars from the leaked VINs had M rear seats, but they may have decided to get rid of them at some point. Probably for cost cutting.

I thought they were the M4 Seats because the headrests look much larger than the current M2 rear seats in the pic posted by TAG.Looks like you guys are right and they are same rear seats.

Re: the wheels:
I'm really liking the new wheels, especially in combination with the drilled brakes (optional, I believe). As far as cleaning them, it looks like only the front face of the spokes is polished and the sides are gray or black - so you really only need to wipe the front face regularly and let some dust build up on the sides - it will be barely visible.

Re: M seats - does anyone know if these come with the Air conditioning? My wraparound leather sport seats in my 135 M-sport are nice with the big side bolsters and all, but in the summer with the windows down, they make your back sweat something fierce. Cooled seatbacks would be nice to prevent swass.

59.9k euros base M2, 61.9k euros base M2C, that's only a 3.35% increase in base price.

THx god for bimmerpost the audacity of my local dealers (Taiwan Taipei) to assure at least 30% price bump and advise me to grab a base M2 now.

M2C most likely for my first M car, i hope the rear seats fold back as M2 and no shooting brake anytime soon woot

I currently drive F80 and curious if the M seat on M2 competition is exactly the same seat as the current F80/*2?

For US market, do we get the option to choose the current M2 seat on M2 competition?

One problem that I have with the seat is that the lower bolster seat is not adjustable. This actually pinches my left thigh, over time, it becomes uncomfortable.
