I am pretty sure you can have them installed at the port.

"Hello and thank you for your interest in Akrapovic !

As the Swedish agent for Akrapovic automotive systems, we received your request for this system. When the development time of each system is very long , there is a limited capacity how many new versions to be developed every year. From a BMW perspective we work at present with x5m system and then takes priority on the new M2 , as in the current situation there are no plans to release something to the M235 in 2015. If this were to change , we will feed back to you with information"
I wonder if GTHAUS has been working on one for the M2 as well?
Yes, there will be Meisterschaft exhaust options available for the M2.

UK dealer told me can be ordered with the car but the dealer will order theses parts separate and install at the dealer.

I'm getting carbon mirror caps, carbon bootlid lip, black kidney grills. I'll wait for akrapovic to release the exhaust and carbon diffuser

They transformed a great car in to something truly outstanding.
Those seats look great in your 1M... how is it getting into the back?

Yes. Yes it is.

Why wouldn't they pull 420hp and 550nm from the engine?
You'll easily get that from a stage 1 tune.
This M2 (at least on paper) feels like a lightly tuned M235i with a few parts being changed for M-parts and beefed up exterior.
The M2 should have at least 100hp more than the M235i, like the difference from the e92 335i to e92 M3, or current 340i to current M3.
Volkswagen/Audi uses the same engines for the Golf, GTI, Golf R, A3, S3, A4, S4, TT, TTS, etc. and charges different prices for the different models. Same for Lexus IS, RC, GS. So, this use of "same engine, different price" is already present in the marketplace.

Two quick questions and didn't see it or might have missed it:

1. Is factory installed shadow trim an option? (Love my "is" looks because it lacks chrome.)

2. For the Alcantara steering wheel, what exact option has to ordered? Is it the heated wheel? Really want to price this option but not sure how to go about ordering it so far as how BMW options. Definitely would like it without the electronics.

You can't drive from the back, so what does it matter?

1. Standard in the US.

2. It's not an option. It's basically an after market steering wheel but it's OEM. Your best bet is to buy it from getbmwparts.com after you buy your car. They usually have the best prices.

Looks pretty damn good and much better than the M2. I feel that the only interiors still leading in class with BMW are the 5 and 6 Series. Even the new G12 7-Series still isn't a match for this generations S-Class in my opinion. The 2016 C-Class is so elegant, I'm not sure that BMW will be able to match it for the next generation of 3-Series. I guess time will tell. As for the M2, I'd still rather have a 2016 Audi TTS. The TTS does have a 6MT, atleast in Sweden.

And don't order the heated steering wheel if you are going to change as it is not compatible with the alcantara wheel. So money down the drain.

Looks like there are two little CF "skid plates" under the corners of the bumper.
Maybe they'll protect the paint on the bottom of the apron or something. ???

Looking for opinions on the M perf parts.
If I was getting AW then I would get most/all the parts as I enjoy the contrast white/black.

What are peoples opinions on the m perf parts for the boot lid, side skirts, diffusers on LBB?
My colour pick is almost definitely going to be LBB.
