How much front camber does the M2 run from the factory? Just replaced my PSS after spotting the cords on the very inside during brake flush. Had about 3/32nd on the inside and a little over 4/32 left on the outside.
My last alignment was probably 3-4 years ago. Wondering if it needs another one or if I'm just driving in a straight line too much lol. Got about 23k miles out of them. |

Front camber is isn't adjustable without additional parts. It's about -1.5deg IIRC. It's probably worth getting the toe checked when you have the replacement tyres fitted but overall, they've had a good life with 23k miles. You must go pretty easy on them.
What pressure do you normally run? Chronic under-inflation can also cause this wear pattern. If alignment is good, perhaps a couple of extra PSI day-to-day on the next set? |

1. This was not caused by camber, it was caused by toe.
2. You should get an alignment every 10K miles, and every time you get a set of tires. 3. Check your tire pressures once every few weeks, and more often when the seasons change. They should be 35 front, and 33 or 34 rear. Win. |

Not really keen on what BMW might recommend. The tire pressure in any car has to do with the weight over the tires more than anything, and the heavier end always gets an additional 1 or 2 psi in my cars. In the Lotus there is a 3-psi split, but the car is very ass heavy.
