So better stats without having to wait three long years. Also next-generation G87 M2 does not have DCT and is bigger and will weigh more. The weight increase definitely does not help 0-60.

Lastly I think the M2 CS is a big improvement for people who "only" have a OG M2 n55 version. You are getting a different engine and 79 horsepower increase, 41 torque increase, so a big difference on day one. I can understand M2 Competition owners only seeing a small incremental improvement.
You make a pretty good point here in explaining how this year's M2 CS may be the most powerful M2 until the G87 M2 CS, whenever that may be (2025?).

If the next M2 is set for 2023 release, I'd say there's no chance the follow-up M2CS would be released anytime sooner than 2028 my friend.

For the same money, you can buy an M5 in the states, whilst I can buy a 520i.

And it's not just tax, it's manufacturers pricing structure too.
Time to move lol

No "Individual" body color shown in the video. It's Hockenheim Silver Metallic.

M2 CS colors:
  • Non-metallic (stock: $0):
    • Alpine White
  • Metallic (optional: $550):
    • Black Sapphire Metallic
    • Hockenheim Silver Metallic
    • Misano Blue Metallic

I think it might be due to regulations. In some countries, you can't have the tire sticking out past the fender by a certain amount and that little stick on extension might help BMW get past that without a fender redesign. The lexus RC-F has a somewhat similar tacked on arch due to that reason.

The European M2 CS on display in Brussels had the simplified airco of the M4 CS / M3 CS.

It has been noticed that BMW switched in the meantime to the 'regular' airco (same as on the M2C) for the M2 CS.

That's strange they switched it up like that..

Anyone was able to verify if they also eliminated the Comfort Access feature, with a 100% certainty, at least for the US-spec vehicles?

Correct. But if you order an M2 CS, it features code 534 (Automatic airconditioning) = dual-zone airco as on the M2C.

But there's still a difference: the M2 Competition features ventilation in the rear - that's omitted on the M2 CS: see here.
