Manual M2 2017 vs Manual F-Type S 2015

Anyone gone from and F type S manual to an M2 OG or vice versa?

What’s peoples thoughts on this?

I’ve got an OG M2, - but just find the f type looks awesome, which most I think would agree.

But torn whether I should change or not

I cross shopped the f type and M2.

The f type feels less well put together
I like the M2's engine better, smoother and sounds better
the M2's transmission is better
the M2 is a smaller lighter car and you can tell when you take the curves

I think the only thing the ftype has over the M2 is looks

how shallow are you?

Have both I love both for different reasons. Could not disagree more with the statement that the M2 sounds better. I know I know I have a M2C and the M2 sounds better than that, but the active exhaust on the F-Type sounds worlds better than both.

Looks - Jag wins
Sound - Jag wins
Power - Jag wins
Driving dynamics - M2 wins
Practicality - M2 wins

The Jag with the V8 is just a bonkers car. 460lb ft torque stock. When it comes to the twisties however I prefer the M2. More planted, less nervous. Both hella fun cars in their own right, just different.

I was talking about the V6 manual Jag which is the one the OP was considering, not the V8, obv the V8 wins on power and sound!
