I will cancel it if it doesn't arrive at the dealer next week.

I spoke to my SA last night and he said there is currently a big backlog of cars at port due to transportation issues which is why there is a delay. Not quite sure how true that is and he wasn't willing to truck it from halifax either :|

If your SA is not willing to truck the car I would try BMW Canada. If that doesn't work then you should consider if you want to wait for 2019 model. (But don't go to the same dealership .) |

I think it might be specific to the M5s because there are some cars which are still being shipped in a reasonable time frame from what I have seen on this thread.

It should be on your purchase agreement. (Probably in the fine prints) Mine says 90 days from the agreement that the buyer can terminate. I waited for 4 months.

Does anything happen at VPC over the weekend? If not, that's 2 more days gone...

i just read BMW just issued a stop-sale order for the M5 due to latest recall....that might be why the cars are sitting......

Using below website will give you exactly if your VIN has any recall;
https://www.bmw.ca/en/ssl/VehicleRec...ljbGVSZWNhbGwv They update the recall status very frequently so I would say the result that you get is quite accurate. |
