Called dealer and they said "its supposed to be here on the 6th" and yes, Hansen's has a due date of the 6th but I had to explain to them this was more of a guarantee date and that its usually earlier. Dealer now says its 3 days to PDI once it gets here. That's bullcrap. Especially since I did european delivery and I doubt they will be doing as much to it as they would if it was "fresh".

Yup, noticed this morning on Hansen's that it was delivered in the middle of the night. Haven't heard from dealership. Sent two emails since it looks like the business manager is away today...you know, the one who said three days for delivery!

hahaha. If you still hear no news until end of today, walk into your dealership after your work and find out. Thinking that will be most efficient.

Where did you get it from? My dealership said the same thing so gotta wait till next week as I'm also getting my tints from them. I get that they need time or whatever but don't understand the unresponsiveness.

Grand River BMW in Kitchener. Not impressed with the experience there. First, they didn't seem to know how to handle my European Delivery paperwork and I had to go in a second time to complete them. Then I find out the wheels I clearly ordered (and were both in my emails to the sales person AND on my purchase agreement) got missed somehow and the car was built with the standard 436 wheels. Then they tell me no problem, the owner has promised I will have the 719s that I ordered.

Then they tell me a couple of weeks ago there is a car on the showroom floor with the wheels and tires I ordered and they will swap them when my car comes in. Now that its in, I'm told they sold that car and I will have to wait a few weeks for another car to come in with my setup. As a sidebar, I emailed them a month ago to remind them my car was on its way and to make sure they had my wheels in for when it arrived.

Now, on top of everything, they had no clue about delivery status from Halifax then again from Toronto...I kept THEM informed. Even had to tell my salesperson today that my car arrived overnight. I had wanted the car for tomorrow morning as I need to head to Niagara but they dragged their heals all day and now they say Friday. I won't hold my breath.

But apparently dealer is backed up on deliveries

PDI is what takes the longest......

Someone from another thread mentioned that ED cars have priority over non-ED cars and are usually trucked directly from Halifax. Is this still true?

Yes it is however they still go through VPC

I have the ultimate package so I expect it will take some time at VPC. But knowing the car will be trucked, I can just keep checking on Hansen's to find out when it's done with VPC.

Mine was not. I had an ED but it was sent by rail from Halifax to Toronto

My guess is that while they do not always truck the car, ED owner typically has more leverage to request it because they already paying the lease/finance.
