I am somewhat handy with my 3d printer and subsequent programs. Might try and get some measurements and whip something up.

I'd add those in a heartbeat... and the extra benefit of those external ducts is that the radiators can keep the high pressure zone... total win. (also want the rear wing of that race car... lol)

But not directly to the rotor

Also note the last line in the brake description of the M2 CS Racing

Brakes

6-piston fixed yoke front, Alcon
Brake disc diameter: 380 mm
4-piston fixed yoke rear, production M2 CS
Brake disc diameter: 380 mm

The placement of the two openings lines up directly with the air intake snorkels and resembles the intake opening for the N55 M2 (see below), the brake rotors are much lower.

I'm pretty sure those are for a ram air effect but until I get confirmation, I guess it could be either.

My guess is that this is brake cooling ducting.

It will be interesting to see if the ducts were changed on the CS. :

Its location screams brake ducting. That's not for the intakes....

Yeah so back to this thread being about the incomplete intake ducts, anyone know of a kit solution or is it still homebrew for now?

The closest kit I've seen that pulls air from the front of the car thats not too expensive is the: TMS kit.

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-5...take/?pdk=AgEG

If I was going to do a good Cold Air setup this would be it...

^^ This. Perhaps it has the little ducts that peek into the kidneys, but I couldn't see pictures or any mention of it. There is a company that sells those little scoops tho.

OOPS on the Turner Link. They also pull air from the engine bay..

As for the scoops there are a couple of different suppliers...I got mine from X-PH.

You can either fabricate the 90 degree scoops that connect to the stock snorkels, or use the OEM BMW parts from the F80-82
