Vibration and resonance in cabin at 35-40mph

Have a horrible vibration around 35-40mph, doesn't change with rpm or road conditions. Thinking it's either driveshaft related or maybe U- Joint? Any ideas?
Car goes into service in 2 days

Are you driving over the yellow road line?

Also, I'd delete this and post in the mechanical issues forum.

My 2018 X3 just had the same symptom, soon after that developed the check engine light came on. Turned out to be a bad injector. Not the first time it's happened, same on my 135i a while back. Both times I thought the transmission was going to fall out or had a loose motor mount. Funny how the timing goes everything starts shaking.

Interesting! Mine doesn't
Change by rpm but could still explain it? I'll let my SA know!

Injectors are usually progressive failures, vibrations would get increasingly worse. Come to think my X5 and VW Tiguan (x2) had injectors go bad too. I'm sure there are other failures that cause the same symptom. Loose mounts would cause that too.

All fixable stuff. Good luck!

Update*
Took to dealer and they replaced both front wheel bearings and said the problem is fixed!
Drove the car for 20 min and the noise is back!

Any guesses? Taking in to check alignment this weekend!

Bad tire? Maybe when it warms up or maybe you lost a balancing weight. Hubs show signs if failure so they might have been bad too....or just a symptom of the real problem. I'm a hack mechanic btw. Nothing wrong getting new parts under warranty while they play trial and error.

That's the plan! Good idea on tires, I'll take to big o and have them rebalanced if needed. Problem seems to get worse under braking now?

When I hear vibration under braking my mind automatically wanders straight to warped rotors. But what do I know? :

Usually happens if you overheat them.

Could also be a balance/tire problem or even a damaged wheel.

Did you smack a curb while tracking it?

Careful on track so no curbing but a warped rotor might be the issue! I'll check tomorrow!

Agree Probably not warped rotors. Dust deposits maybe.
