Yep, I never thought the day would come when I would prefer both the 666 and 788 over the 437. Of course, the cleaning part is a different story.

Yes, the fenders are all CF. The part you see in CF is the portion left unpainted.
Correct.

Logo ? What about BMW M signing the inside of the hood, as Ferrari did with the Enzo for Michael Schumacher back in 2003.

That wouldn't bother me, because it's on the inside and it's actually a tribute with real signatures. Perhaps I'm being too hard on BMW? They do after all give you a free pair of underwear with every ///M PERFORMANCE purchase.

Totally agree. I'd paint right over that silly M Performance logo on the trunk lid as well. The bonnet should be painted one solid color as you say or it ends up looking like something a flamboyant American muscle car would have.

Vented CF front fenders are amazing though!
I like the stock ones better.

They somehow ruined the lines with the new fender design.

the trunk I'm not a fan of, I think I prefer the csl style carbon trunk I have seen .

Also the CF front fenders are sweet, but I would fully paint them so no carbon is shown.

Like the bootlid. Do think it would look better without the cutaway though. And without the daft M-Perf writing.

I got one of those iK pump sprayers, which really helps me soap or wheel cleaner into all the nook and cranny areas that the 666Ms have. Armed with a wheel woolie and pressure washer, I can do each wheel in about 5 minutes now. Not too shabby.

They actually don't look bad in that tone. They may be older but the 437's I think are still the way to go.

I guess you guys only have a regular old M2 Competition UNTIL you put the performance parts, then it gets performance! oh BMW...

On a more serious note, I thought the whole "M Performance" thing was started with cars like my "M" 235i to bridge the gap between regular series and the M variants, kinda like how in the past the 335iS filled the gap between the regular 335i and the e92 M3.

I really don't get the need to put M Performance on anything made for the M2C, the CF parts they created stand out on their own, they don't need any special branding.

They are creating an "aftermarket" brand. So instead of buying from mode carbon or Remus, you are buying after market parts from M Performance. Ingenius way to tap into the active aftermarket parts industry and increase revenue.

Makes sense, and their CF quality is for the most part top!

However for this trunk in particular I'd ditch any exterior branding and that huge M Performance in the interior, instead I'd put a small interior aluminum plaque with a serial number, a SMALL M-P logo and hell even a laser etched signature from the head of M dept! It's all about the little details
