The AC Schnitzer Program for the BMW M2 Competition F87

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Just released! With the M2 Competition by AC Schnitzer, the tuning experts from Aachen again show that improvements are always possible.

Beyond the M-Series: Lighter, faster, more sporting

Warranty

For all AC Schnitzer performance upgrades, AC Schnitzer provides a warranty depending on your home country up to 5 years and up to 120,000 km mileage on the assemblies moved by the engine. For M models, this warranty ends at 80,000 km. The warranty is free of charge for our customers. This gives you reassurance in the event of an incident. Here you can find the complete Warranty Conditions.

More details on ACS Warranty can be found here

Homologation Certificate
The parts homologation certificate is an official document which allows the use of tuning parts in public road traffic within the framework of the (StVZO) German road traffic licensing regulations (and some other countries). After installation or conversion of the part described in the certificate, the vehicle must be presented to an official inspection body. The inspector determines the correct installation and the authenticity of the part and subsequently enters the modification in the vehicle documents. The official operating license of the vehicle thus remains in force. The parts homologation certificate is part of the scope of delivery.

So if I did the tune there would be a warranty with it? The tune takes to 500hp correct? are there any other mods you need to have done before the tune (I know people say to replace the crankhub) but is that even necessary with the warranty will you guys cover any damage done to a car that's stock aside from the plug-in tune?

I've always liked AC Schnitzer. Glad to see some solid offerings from them.

Amazing how just about any wheel looks good on the M2!

The brake rotors have a lot of heat spots. It looks like it's seen lots of track time. Gorgeous car!

I love the design of their front splitter, but does anyone know if it comes color matched on both sides or if they chose to just paint it that way? (I prefer it to NOT have that color matched sections)

Front Side Wings will arrive unpainted (black), but can be color-matched like below at additional cost, Front Splitter is ABS Plastic (essentially bulletproof)

Most parts are available now. Exhaust is still in development, tips are readily available for those wanting to keep their stock system.

For pricing, please email/PM is directly.

I think they are one of the few whose products (or some of the products) are TUV approved. Without this you cannot sell or install aftermarket mods legally in Germany.

Because of real track time R&D and top notch Quality.

Parts fit like OEM. Carbon fibre parts don't crack like some cheap knockoffs from China or Taiwan.

Their stuff had been thoroughly tested on a race track or in a wind tunnel so these parts will never let you down say while you are doing 250km/h
