Have you heard anything about the actual production times?
I only asked when I ordered and got the normal 4-8 weeks answer...

Nope. I haven't inquired. I'll probably follow up sometime next week.

Your car will look so awesome with the combo you have chosen. Mine is a little bit more under the radar... Looking forward to the pictures!

My former 135 was AW so I was excited to mix it up a bit this time. Had I landed a white M2 as you did, I would do exactly what you have done. That combo is classic.

Posted one in this thread a week or so ago, it might be easier to find it on my Instagram (in my signature). I'll see what more I have.

When are you going to post a review of your MPE?

Review of the M2 M Performance Exhaust

For cool aural pleasure purposes, it's a must have.

I am planning to get it from day 1, but I have yet to hear one one the M2.

Does it sound similar to the MPE for the M3/4, which is a MUST-HAVE IMHO?

In a nutshell (but you need to hear it IRL):
  • looks: harmoniously with CF diffusor and CF trunk spoiler;
  • the grunt: means business;
  • burbling and gurgling: virtually each time when you release the gas when cruising;
  • guttural: yes, but in a more mature growling way - not as raspy/screamy as you hear in some other aftermarket exhausts;
  • cool rolling rumble: when quickly releasing the gas from ± 3700 rpm onwards (check the British video below at 01:55 and 02:01);
  • sound beyond 4500rpm + when the car has passed the break-in period: don't know yet - will find that out after the break-in period.
This car deserves this exhaust.

All fitted by my dealer before taking delivery as per my request:
  • gloss black kidney grilles
  • gloss black side gills (air breathers)
  • CF side mirror caps
  • CF rear deck spoiler
  • CF diffuser
  • MP Exhaust + CF exhaust tips.
Ordered but not available yet:
  • "Pro" steering wheel with blue marker + CF cover for "Pro" steering wheel (June/July).
Dealer also had a set of 'winglets' for front and rear (front blades + side blades), but I refused those: no me gusta.

I saw this video and I can't tell if that is the MPE exhaust...is it?
