Thanks for the pics. The M2 looks really good in Alpine White.I still plan on ordering the M2 in Long Beach Blue but Alpine White would definitely be my second choice.

It's amazing how much worse (or better) wheels can make a car look.

I don't like it in white at all ... The front looks weird, like the bumper is so overdone but then the rest is very plain and the back looks really bland too.
The m4 rims could make a difference though. These ones make it seem like just a normal 2 series. |

The black 19s provided some much needed contrast and added aggressiveness. White with winter wheels just looks like a big bright blob.
And also, the car needs to have 19s, the 18s don't look quite right with the M2 specific flares.

Thanks for posting!
I think the car in the pictures has the same "dullness" to it as the MGM one we saw a few days ago, which makes me think it all comes down to the boring 640M winter wheels. |

Oh, the F80 18's will look real good once you lower it and get spacers.

But you can see in the first pic the 4x4 stance and 18s just does this car no justice at all

Sadly, 4x4 stance is a thing now. Even on ///M cars. M Sport suspension on Exx used to be 15mm lower, now it is only 10 and cars sit higher from factory. People would be suprised if they saw how low our E91 with M Sport suspension is.

I don't mind the black 19s, but I think I'm going to go with the silver 19s on the F80. Not in love with them, but they are forged and they do provide some contrast so I guess I don't mind too much.

I really had a hard time accepting the pictures of the mineral grey M2, but now I'm fine again after seeing these. |

Same here. This makes me feel a lot better about MG again. I think a darker color does a lot more for this car than a light one. Adds to the aggression.

I bet if you put a LBB on the winter wheels pictures above it would look like a blue blob of crap as well.

Looks good in white, but I don't think I would get it in white. My last car as mineral white, but the e92 body was graceful and elegant. I think AW looks fantastic on a 6 series. But this car is just not elegant. BSM it is for me. I think. Def not mystery blue.

I hate that camera. A lot. I wish I hadn't seen this. Sigh.
I'm going to hold on to these Bimmerpost renders until we get better AW pics. Last edited by G8rGrl; 11-17-2015 at 05:48 PM.. |

Wow it just looks so mundane here. I really think it's a combination of a poor quality camera, poor lighting, and those winter wheels that make it look that way. The white one with MP parts all over it looked amazing! Although I have already ruled it out, LBB is the only color that never looks boring.
