Didn't realize the M2's proportions were so close to the E46 M3. Excited to see it in person. I would still take a non-stanced (that's sacrilege) E46 over the F87.

Warzilla, I have three questions for ya:

When did you see it?

Where exactly did you see it?

Are you positive that it was an M2?

I am planning on going back when I have time this week. If you can give me an answer as to when you saw it, and that you're sure it was an M2, I'll go back tomorrow and try to get a ton more pics/impressions for you guys
Ok posted it on another thread, and now see this post here.

So, I saw the white M2 AGAIN today - believe it or not. On the road.

The first time I saw it was on the highway - RT 17. I was heading north and it was heading down south. Right by the Waldwick exit. If you know the area you know that that RT 17 is a major highway to the BMW NA office. Tons of cars go thru the Saddle River/Allendale exit to take the local road to BMW NA in Montvale. Local people will understand what I'm saying. I spotted the front grille on the car from the other side and notice it was white. That's when I reported it here on the forums.

So today, I was driving home locally thru Allendale and saw the White M2 AGAIN. It was going the opposite direction but on a local road. I did a u-turn to see if I could find the car but couldn't find him.

So the car is local. I'm assuming IF it is a M2 it has to be part of the test fleet at BMW NA. I'll keep a look out for it.

My current DD- the next to amazing E46 ZHP Coupe

I think you meant to say SMG tranny, when you are referring to the crappy steptronic in the E46 M3.The steptronic tranny was the regular torque converter tranny that was used in the E46 3 series, not the E46 M3.

Figured I'd get some criticism, but my car was done for me, and not to please everyone. It is on KW V2 coilovers. No bags. Completely refinished in OEM PPG Ferrari Grigio Medio paint. Pics, and front lip make it look a lot lower than it really is. also tires aren't really that "stretched" compared to some of the other "stance" cars out there. I also don't see how its "slightly ghetto" lol. Car is very well maintained, and has some of the rarest authentic parts available for the E46 M.

Anyways. Thought some people would like to see the comparison. Maybe someone with a stock one can go do the same for a better comparison.
You got my vote bro taking it back with the Racing Dynamics

I agree...

And the difference between hella-nice looking, and hella-stupid looking.

Those wheels simply kill that m-car. The End.

Omg my eyes keep craving that e46! The curves are so timeless!
Aggressive offsets and a drop really complement the car.
Its hard to tell if there is 5-10k in body work or if stock bc its so smooth!

It does look like body work, doesn't it? I think it's because it's just so damn beautiful!

The M2 may look better in person, but I don't think it'll ever look as good as your E46.

Agreed. But I think that's true in comparison to pretty much any BMW out there. The E46 M3 is one of the best looking BMW's ever made IMHO.

Great Compare, thanks for the Pics...
But I gotta ask about the wheels on the e46. IMHO it makes a great car look a bit "odd".

I have to agree some. I do not like the stretched tire look when the rim of the wheel is exposed greatly.

My all time favorite is a clean ZCP e46 M3. If you mod the e46 M3 too much it takes away from the clean look that the e46 has.
