M5 rotors on M2C

I keep hearing people say that the M2C's front brakes are the same as M5. Does that mean that I can use M5 rotors on the M2C? I've already seen some pads like Ferodo DS2500 that say they're cross compatible but wondering if the rotors are as well.

No, the M5 rotors are smaller than the M2C rotors

I believe 390mm vs 400mm

The pads, however, should be cross compatible

EDIT - I was wrong about the size of the M5 rotors. See DavidStr's post below regarding the rotors

discs have the same diameter, at 400mm and 36mm thick
However center bore between the 2 are different. You can use M5 rotors, but the CB needs to be machined
Not sure about the offset though

Thanks! That's a bit disappointing.

Hopefully by the time I need to replace rotors FCPEuro would stock M2C ones...

Send them an email asking to add to m2c front and rear rotor to their website

I sent them an email about m2c Ferodo ds2500 .....

Before it was just listed under the m5 application for the front.

Now when you search:
« m2 competition » on fcp euro search box, you can find front and rear Ferodo ds2500 and ds1.11 track pads.

Very happy about that
