I'm at 49.5k, so not quite there, but so far it's been the best M-car I've owned, and will keep it for a while... likely forever.
e46-> e90 -> f80 -> F87 M2C best all around car I've had.

I’m at almost 53k and the car has been the best BMW I’ve owned so far from a reliability standpoint. I’ve had no mechanical issues (knock on wood) since mile 8 when I bought it in 2019. The only warranty items I’ve had are a defective sun visor and rear taillight blinking. Both were fixed and haven’t had any issues since.

55k. It’s a keeper. Only issues have been both rear taillight assemblies, replaced under warranty. Otherwise bulletproof so far.

I musta been unlucky.
Tailight issue which was fixed under warranty. Seatbelt got twisted which also was fixed under warranty. TPMS malfunction which they could not figure out. Now have a weird whistle most likely from a pulley that I need to figure out. I mean I guess thats not that bad but only have 33k |

I've had the taillight issue as well (fixed under warranty) and a TPMS issue but that as due to the tyre shop.
I'd love to hear experience of owners with 100k on the clock!

hope not the same issue as mine. they changed the sensors and a bunch of other crap and still can't get rid of the tpms malfunction. I am about to try to fix it myselfd when I have some time because I feel like dealerships sometimes don't do things right

Between the two 2020 M2's I have about 65K miles on them.
First one before getting totaled was at 33K. Current one also at ~32xxx. Only problem so far was the RR Tail light problem. Best car BMW has produced in many, many years.

I'm only at 28k / 4 years, but so far so good (as have all my BMWs been).
So which models/years got impacted by the tail light issue?I remember seeing these posts before I got my 2020 Comp, and thought the issue was resolved. Is it impacting my MY as well (October 2019 build)? |

Probably BMW for having years to correct the issue with what is likely a simple change to the electronics in the housing.
It looks like a design issue anyway. If this many units are affected it's almost always a design flaw. |

I do wonder if it's like a temperature/moisture issue? I live in an area that's pretty easy on rubber seals and the like due to high humidity and not much extreme heat or cold. I sort of wonder if it's saving me from it. Could just be luck though. |

I think it's luck too. My left taillight acted up a few times about a year ago, and it has been fine ever since. I'll replace it with a part from FCP if needed and never need to worry about paying for it again. That one instance of the turn signal acting up is the only problem our M2C has ever had since new (bought it in Sept 2018, 20k miles now).

Same here but 5 years old! We're trying to get down to two cars, and I'm having to choose between keeping my E90 M3 and the M2C, and at the moment I'm planning on auctioning the M3 this spring. I've had it for 12 years, absolutely love the car, but I guess it's time for it to move on to hopefully a caring owner. The E91 is going too, but it's been a do everything beater wagon although we've kept it in very good condition considering its age/miles. M340i on order and in production now.

Great to see everyone driving their M2's and still loving it after all that mileage. Gives me hope that I'll stick with mine for a long long time (and not jump on an M4GTS).
