Auto rev match started to work in Sport+

Hi everyone.
In my understanding and experience, auto rev match is deactivated in the Sport+ mode. However, it started to work all of sudden this morning. I have done no coding or tuning since I drove it last time. My car is MY17 OG CLI.

Let me know if anyone here experienced this or have any idea on the cause.
TIA.

It should always work in Sport + with stock tune and coding

Rev match has never worked in Sport + until today, IIRC.
Is there any regional or model year differences? Again, mine is 2017 OG LCI. Japan delivery.
Anyway thanks for your input!

Could potentially be a regional difference. North American OG/LCI/M2C M2 has always had rev match in Sport+.

The only way to disable is to turn DSC fully off (do you typically drive with it off, that could explain rev-match appearing in Sport+). The coding option I believe turns it off in all modes.

In early production years of the F80 M3, there was no rev match in Sport+, but it was added in later years.

Thanks for the information.

As I don’t hate rev match because it can be easily overridden by my own action, I don’t have any intention to turn it off.
I was just surprised by it being activated in the Spot+. I will consult my dealership at the next service call on the software setting of Japan model.
