I did get a great deal imo.. a good friend of mine was the used car sales manager at the time. I had purchased 3 cars from him prior. One of which was a M550 that lasted a week before I wanted out. Just too big and heavy not to mention like 8mpg lol. I was coming from a 340i, 335i, GTI and S2000's prior. I knew I had to get something fun to throw around. Fell in love with the M2C after I test drove it.

I envy you! I paid 58k for my 18 this summer with 1700 miles. I would have definitely went comp if I could have found a deal like that, congrats!

Location and color def matter. East coast generally is cheaper than west coast. When I was looking at new 2c back in 2020, there was no way sf dealer would offer discount, while Boston NJ had a bunch of dealers offering 5-10%. Also in general BSM is easier to get discount than others, not to say it's a bad color.

To an extent yes location matters. But 21 I don't think you could ever find a clean sub 10k mile comp under 60k let alone 65. I'm just saying it's an insane price no matter where it was

I almost don't believe it, must be friends with the dealer. I had multiple offers of $58k rejected for cars with more miles and a year older than the one he bought around the same time.

I have the window sticker, I think it was $56.5K new IIRC, but no dealer would sell me one for sticker, they are wall $5K to $7K over (even early into 2019 with M2C's on the lot), so I waited a year and bought used.

My car also had all 4 rotors and pads replaced at 9,027 miles, which made it worth more to me. Never tracked or driven hard, female owned.

I actually have a screen-cap of the ad.
