Mustang Dyno Results Stock

My M2C is now at my preferred shop for some upgrades, including GC camber plates, Ohlins RT coil overs, Apex EC-7 wheels with RE-71R's, Ferodo DS1.11 pads, SS brake lines, and AA midpipe and exhaust. Additional setup work includes an aggressive alignment for the track, and corner balancing (along with Fall-Line adjustable sway end links).

The owner dyno'd the stock car on his shop's Mustang for a baseline. The car will be dyno'd again after the AA goodies are installed.

Hard to read. Is that 388whp? If so, that's WAY more at the crank than the 405hp official claim which does not surprise me. Would a DynoJet read lower or higher than a Mustang dyno?

On a Dynojet this would read low 400-410 at the wheels. Mustang dynos read lower than dynojets.

Very strong numbers (especially for a Mustang dyno)

EDIT

Just noticed the pull was done in 4th and not 5th (which is 1:1)

Wonder if that makes a difference

Wow good numbers. Only thing that really matters though is the spread once you add the new parts

+1

As long as he keeps comparing apples to apples on the same dyno then it will show real results. Either way very nice results .

After AA midpipe & exhaust

According to the dyno results, little performance difference with the AA midpipe and exhaust, other than power comes on just a bit sooner.

It does sound nice though

Have to admit I am a bit surprised at this. Does the ECU adapt after some period of time? Seems odd that this would yield virtually no results.

Nice! Man it would suck to have an m2c that couldn't be tuned.

Would be nice to see a full rpm sweep on that Carbahn tune but I know how it feels with my BM3 S1 and end up shifting around 7200.

Thanks for sharing!

There is no additional power gain above 6800-6900 with the OEM turbo's.

This from Cary Jordan (who's been tuning S55's forever).

Other than having the room to hold a gear to redline vs shifting your best to shift right around 7K max...

Cary's been working on my custom Pump 93 BM3 tune for sometime now...
