Hi

What's the widest tire width you can on the stock M Performance rims on a M2C.

Has anyone gone wider and from what I've research/ read on the forums - I'll say front 255/35/19 and rear 285/35/19 will be ok. Thanks

Cheers

I am currently running 255/35R19 and 285/35R19 Alpine Pa4 winter tires on stock rims. There is no rub, even on Boston's horrid roads, although I haven't loaded the car up with 4 people.

However, when I go back to summer tires I will be using 255/35R19 and 275/35R19 because the the 285s just look too big compared to the 255s.

Your numbers are correct, but you have to take into account that there is no real standardization with tire numbers, and that All-season/Winter/Summer tires have vastly different shoulders. So basically your 255/285 combo could not rub with one tire, and rub with the same size in a different tire.
