Anyone with experience with Buttonwillow HPDS?

I saw that BMW CCA is hosting a one-day HPDS at Buttonwillow next month. Has anyone had any experience with this track and/or the HPDS?

I’ve never tracked my car but have been wanting to for a long time. This seems like a great entry point for me to track my car but are there anything I should heed before signing up for this?

I signed up, should be fun. Never been to Buttonwillow but tracked the car before and did HPDS with GGC at Laguna Seca.

Thanks for the insight! Was it a one-day HPDS at Laguna Seca? I’m wondering why there’s such a big price between this and the BMW 1-day M school.

Buttonwillow is fun but it's fairly technical so get ready for an arm workout! If you're a complete newb don't forget your helmet lol

Buttonwillow 13CW was my first track day experience back in college w/ my MR2. I never got to go back in the M2 though. what config are they running?

also, don't forget to bring a tire pressure gauge, torque wrench w/ 17mm socket, snacks, water, and a cooler. I usually freeze two water bottles and bring 4 refrigerated bottles to last me the entire day.

also hit up Willow Ranch BBQ afterwards...that place is really good haha

mr2 spyder. i had the top secret turbo setup and a bunch of suspension work done. if you search American Touge 2 on YouTube, most likely my video pops up first. that was before i installed the turbo though.

It was two days at Laguna Seca.
I guess the price different is because they also provide the cars at the M school. And because they can and it's more of a brand promotion thing.
