Ceramic coating recommendations

Hi all,

I’m planning to pickup my m2 in Long Island this week and drive down to my home in Philadelphia. Does anyone have recommendations for a retailer who can do a ceramic coating in either area. Anyone know the approx cost/time needed?

Thanks

I had my car coated by Ryan Kates at Classic Auto Fitness in West Berlin, NJ. He is certified in Opti-Coat ceramic coating. He is very meticulous. It took him about a day to coat my car.

Did he used to do only on location detailing about 10 years ago? I think I may have used him before. What was pricing like if you don’t mind me asking?

I'm honestly not sure the coating was my first experience with him. The pricing was the best in the area (it was under $1000). I called around to a number of places.

Detailer's Domain has a great facility and very good reputation. They are located in Norwood, NJ. Cost/time depends once you bring your car in for them to see.

Yes Phil is go to safe bet, he's been around a very long time and does great work. Just avoid exclusive autoworks in LI they aren't very good.

Keep in mind the coating application isn't the cost driver for this type of product. The key is vehicle prep which even for a new car can be a full day of cleaning, compounding and polishing. If an installer shortchanges the prep the ceramic coating will just lock in any scratches and imperfections.

Supreme Shine on Long Island. I highly recommend them. Give AJ a call (number is on their site).
