OEM Exhaust tips

Does anybody know if the OEM tips can also fit on OG M2 stock exhaust? Are they the same size?

Not being a huge fan of the chrome tips on my 18' LCI with stock exhaust, I'm hoping I can just grab some black ones from any fellow member looking to upgrade to an aftermarket exhaust/tips.

Call me crazy but I prefer the OEM size and tips that don't stick out. I could also get mine powder coated for $120 total or paint them using VHT engine enamel paint but I've read mixed opinions on both of these options.

Thanks

I'm sure I've read somewhere they are different internal sizes,

I was searching for after market tips dimensions for M2C and found discussion on OG M2 saying this.

Google is your friend....

I put them in my OG M2. No issues. They stick out further because the OG M2 pipes aren't cut on an angle.

OP, I've been looking for a slant cut black solution since before I got my M2 and haven't found one that doesn't stick out further than stock. All the pics I've seen of the M4 tips stick out too far for my taste. If you find a solution I'd be on it immediately. For now, the stock chrome tips stay bc I can't spend $hundreds on something I know I won't be happy with.

Thank you for the replies.

I find the slanted cut M4 tips look killer with the carbon diffusor on the OG but otherwise they stick out a bit too much for my liking.

Unless I find someone who can shorten my tailpipes for dirt cheap, I'm now planning on ordering the black edition ones for about $230-240 including shipping.

the easiest way is to drop the chrome tips from og m2, sable and paint in electrostatic field.

If you're looking for a straight cut option, have you considered Active, BMS, VRSF?

Not my cup of tea but I'm sure many people like them.

Thank you.
