I have Fabspeed with Remus. Very happy. Not too loud (after cold start is over) and just has a nice deep sound. If you want loud, just rev above 3.5k rpm in Sport or Sport +. If you want to quiet it down, short shift or switch to Comfort. There is a bit of drone with Fabspeed if you stay around 3k for a bit but I don't mind it.

Considering exhaust also as long as the drone isn't insane. my car is a weekender so just looking forward to mean sounds and making it even more fun than it already is . Im seeing that many of you have already modded the downpipe so its good to see the feedback in here. subbed! |

Yes, the purpose of removing it is just to generate more noise/burbles/pops.
I have some comparison videos here if it helps: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1355352 |

What didn't you like about the Meisterschaft in regards to the sound? seems pretty similar to Remus but at a pretty decent price break.

For me Remus (with stock cats + flaps open by default, including cold start) is extremely loud already. I can't imagine putting a sport cat on because of the cold starts. Although I would like a sport cat for when the engine is warm and doing pulls.
Second reason preventing me from putting on a sport cat is that the local tracks (mostly Laguna) have ~90 dB limits, which I feel I'm getting dangerously close to already. |

No-one's mentioning the Fabspeed muffler-free system, which is what I have, in conjunction with a Fabspeed sports cat. Correct me if I'm wrong but surely this system, which is essentially a straight pipe, must be the noisiest of all ? I love mine but either I'm deaf or it's not what I would call particularly noisy. I need MORE noise so what can I do ? I have to keep the catalyser because the fines are too high here in France.
