M2C, OEM everything; will 265/35/19 r888r fit in the front?

As the title says, would a Toyo r888r 265/35/19 fit in the front?

Discussed before.

It will rub on fender liner.

265/30 is what you'll need.

Could also use a heat gun to modify the fender liner to gain extra clearance where it rubs.

Will that only be under full lock or regularly? Sorry for missing the thread... also, can you explain the heat gun thing?

Basically the inner, front fender liner area is where the tire will rub while turning. The M2 and M2C have different front fender liners and it appears the M2C offers slightly less clearance in this area. The main point of trouble appears to be near the vents for the brake cooling. See item #2 here: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_2157

If you were to get a heat gun and heat the plastic liner and use a tool (like the head of a hammer as an example) to press inwards on the area of the liner where there is limited clearance, you could gain clearance this way.

This is commonly done in cases where running larger tires and fitment is an issue however I have not done it myself yet since I haven't bought the 265/35/19 tires. Looking at the parts on Realoem, it would be easy to replace if you botched it and it's just cheap plastic. Would have to ensure that there is adequate space and no wiring /hoses are affected when doing this.

This is some next level smarts. I’ll be bringing the car in for a tune anyway, so I’ll have some pros do it. Thanks very much for the info!!
