Really depends on the person too. While people talk about modding it's really of no interest to me. Whether I had the OG or not I'm not going to tune or do anything more major than an exhaust.

I don't think fuel economy is too bad either, I just wish we had a bigger gas tank. Comparing the same commute I had with the B58 in my 440i compared to the S55 in my M2C I only get 2 mpg worse. I could go an extra week (5 days, ~22 mile round trip) in the 440i before I had to fill up.

Modding is super fun, making it what it ought to be...

If you watching feul economy then defin stay with a mainstream engine, not the s55

Or you can always keep a 25l Jerrycan in the trunk 😁 😂 😁

Modding is a lot of fun, I don't deny it, but sometimes it's easier to just upgrade to a better platform (N55 to S55) without the real need to void warranty or drive something potentially unreliable

I've done exhaust, intake and a few cosmetics. Before I'm touching the engine I'm going to give coilovers a try. I just don't feel like the M2C needs more power though tbh, unless maybe you're tracking it, because to me 410hp for the type of chassis is extremely generous.

I think you're right. The stock M2C chassis can barely handle the CS+ tune. Stage 1 feels like too much for the chassis. You'd need bigger tires and coilovers for stage 1.

By fueling issues on the N55 I don't mean fuel economy lol and if you guys need to ask to explain than it just solidifies my assumption.
