ARMA SPEED BMW M2 CF Hood
Anyone have experience with this hood? Would like to know about overall quality and fit. Looking at the pictures on X-PH website, there appears to be some fit issues with hood to bumper cover.

Slightly wider gap, but I love it. Hood pins to satisfy regulations at the track

What is the thought behind hood pins for track? Why would this be more likely to open than metal/OEM hood? Final question - is there a grille or something covering the air exit on top? Thanks again! Last edited by Got f1?; 02-13-2020 at 08:54 AM.. Reason: Added question |

The gap is pretty uniform all around, but it's not as noticeable IRL. The hood is extremely light, so the possibility of a hood latch failure or even air pressure causing the hood to fly off at speed on track can happen. That's why the hood pin mandate. There is a mesh over the opening, but there is also a tray under preventing water contamination.
