"proper" indicator stalks - hooray!!
Been meaning to ask...
When did BMW change back to proper indicator / turn signal stalks? Ones that stay where you put them then click off back to centre? (like all other cars do) rather than the odd previous type that centres straight away but the turn signal keeps going... |

I noticed that too. I actually preferred the previous iteration, where the indicator always centred itself.
Lexus also does it that way, perhaps other marques. To each his own. It doesn't detract from the driving experience enough for me to take notice significantly!

Don't understand why they went back to this old school setup. From a UX perspective, this feels completely backwards. I'm now back at blinking right, then left because I pushed the indicator too far.
Pretty sure this is why BMW drivers didn't blink in the first place |
