Ordered the M2 Comp to replace the M2
Finally made up my mind and placed the order for the M2 Comp.
With the end of the run for this model I really wanted to stay with this car. My lease quote was not much more than my current one so it will be a June 2021 delivery. After having 5 black BMW's I chose another BSM (I think it suits the M2). Pretty much fully optioned with DCT and I requested the 437 wheels which looks like they will be able to do. I have this debate with myself frequently. I'm perfectly happy with my 2018, but would also like to spend significant time with the S55 just for something different...and newer.
But my wife won't let me have two M2s : At any rate, enjoy your upgrade!

With COVID my M2 has way too few miles on it tp think about trading it in. I just order some more carbon parts to keep me happy. Instead.

Congrats and nice move on the 437s which I did as a no-cost option (EU). 763s on the way so the 437s will now move to summer/track wheels.

I will miss the current M2 which I think is a little bit more raw but I am sure all round the comp is the better car and it is an evolution and time to move on. Both are just examples of what BMW do best...I have had the E46 and two E92's, all good cars. The F and G Series just got too big for my tastes...what was interesting was that the dealer asked if I was interested in the CS, I did not push him on availability as a sun roof is mandatory for me with use daily unless heavy rain and in Australia with our nanny road rules unless tracked the capabilities of the CS would be wasted. |

Agreed. I may have put 3k miles on my M2 this year (including driving it to Spa Francorchamps and back).. changing the car out for something else with how little I drive it now would be madness. |

I think I've been driving more since covid, not less. Don't you all believe in therapeutic drives, especially in the socially isolated M2 bubble?

My wife made me give up my M235i for my M2C. No justice!
