Where do you put your Bluetooth M Perf Exhaust Controller?

Hi All. I just had an m performance exhaust installed on my M2. Loving it so far but was curious where you guys store the Bluetooth controller. I know I've seen the cup holder adapter thing but mine doesn't seem to have come with one of those, plus I don't think I'm willing to give up the cup holder.

What have you guys done as a solution? Please provide pictures!

Thanks!

I kept the foam/cup holder thing and have it in the door cup holder. There is a little wiggle but not enough to bother me

Is it just what it came in in the packaging? I think the shop tossed it but I'll ask tomorrow.

Correct. Make them dig through the trash you can also use it to store the remote in the door pocket

I made a holder out of foam and put it in the drivers door cubby. I can just reach down and hit the button. This way I can still have my cup holder phone mount and one free cup holder

That's pretty cool... 2 issue though. First if your battery dies could be a pain to change. And second is you lose the cigarette lighter thing.

But I like the idea! Thanks!

I dont know what exact requirement there is to make this installation.
If this guy did simply removed the cig lighter and placed the remote there without cutting and gluing, that would not be too hard to replace batter or put the cig lighter back in there.

I personally do not use cig jack. I dont smoke in the car (although I am a smoker) and USB port below the cup holder is just good enough for me to mount my phone and charge.
Why would you need cig lighter (if you are not smoker).

If this modification requires cutting and gluing... I would not do it personally. But cant find a better place than putting it in cup holder with the foam support.

Not a smoker myself and don't use it but you never know I just like having an extra plug option. But yeah really depends if cutting or permanent changes are involved

Yea I use the lighter outlet for the power usb to plug my phone in when running the BM3 live dashboard, the USB plug up there i have my music/video stick in. Used to be in the console compartment but now I power the agent device there. These are the only ones except for the one at the back end of the center console. We don't have one under the passenger side of the dash...just a hole
