Do these snap/slide in, or adhesive?
Originally we tried sliding in but it didn't work, so we ended up just aligning the strip to the opening and then just push it in

Thanks! Putting this on my list.

Installed M puddle lights and Technicpnp ASD by-pass. Love the puddle lights. Amazed at the difference with the ASD by-passed. Not sure I am sold on it. I think fake sounds are BS, but I am amazed at how quiet it is inside the car now. Really takes away from the driving experience.

got all my CF parts installed today.

Parts were from Aeroluxe Autoboutique

Got Front lip
Side skirts
rear diffuser
rear spoiler

All parts fit pretty well except for the rear diffuser. The one i have i believe is one of the first ones the company has made so its a work in progress. Might switch it out for the M Performance Style rear diffuser. All in all still very happy with how it came out.

Sweet wrap

I've also seen a couple of other 2 Series, with exotic color sheets and I'm impressed how far the quality has to come to authentic paint.

Holy Crap ... Your car looks GREAT! When I saw your first pics of the wrap I was not so sure. Can't wait to see it live.

I ended up getting a 5000slx 12V Quickjack the other day as Costco had a deal and I got a pricematch.

Now time to swap over the RE71R's and get started on suspension parts one of these days. Still waiting for my coilovers. Maybe two weeks if shipments start rolling through.

Took the new toy out today to put some running in miles on it prior to service on Friday.

Drove from Denver, up into the mountains, through Silverthorne, over to Steamboat Springs for lunch, down through Granby and Winter Park and home.

The Wife's comment through the twisties? "If I ever meet the engineer who left off a grab handle, I'm going to kill him!"

Heh.

Installed the aspheric outside mirrors. It's a nice improvement over the standard mirrors.

Haha! My wife made a similar comment when took her up into the mountains. Love it.

The other complaint I get from her and my daughter is that I never warn them when I'm going to goose it. Their heads always bounce off the headrest followed by 'You didn't warn me!' Lol. Looking forward to your break in service. Then you can bounce your wife's head off the seat too!

I think they also updated the ASD on my last visit.

Sounds 10x better to my ear.

I can drive in S+ without that drone sound these days

Made an appointment to drop the car off at Carbahn on 18 June for a flash. I'm also going to have a Mishimoto heat exchanger, the M3/M4 air intakes and VTT CBC done at the same time.

I'm in Denver, so it'll be a bit of a trip to get to the shop-- it's my wife's 50th, so we'll be in Napa celebrating with friends from all over the country, so this was a good excuse to drive the car out. From there, I'll road trip up to (near) Seattle to see my father and sister for a bit, then back down to Denver.

Thoughts on the VTT CBC? Been doing some research and I can't seem to find much from those who already have it. I can only assume thats a good sign, and that we dont see threads with spun crank hubs with CBCs.

It's not "the" fix, but maybe a 95% solution?

Since I'll have the bumper pulled off anyway, it's cheap insurance-- if for no other reason than peace of mind since I'm getting a (fairly mild) tune.

I'm not going any farther with the motor, so it's not worth ~$4000 for me to do the "right" fix. If I was going north of 600 hp, I'd do it, but not for the Carbahn tune.

I'm in the same boat. I think stage 2 should be fine with the CBC. Anything more I would consider new CH.

It's just the forum paranoia thats getting to me
