I'm thinking of getting one... Topp Racing out of Cresson, TX has the best price of all the places I've found (for most parts actually). It was $555 plus ship. Takes awhile to get since it's a special order from Germany.

Yep. At least on what I've had them quote. Topp is a pro Porsche GT3 cup team that also runs BMWs so they have relationships that grant them pretty good pricing. They're just now starting to do parts sales outside of racing so they're priced pretty aggressively.

I ordered mine back in late May from Brit @ bmwpartspros, and she said it was looking like mid or late July, and that at the time I was #51 in line, just for their orders for the spoiler.

So I understand the folks feel the dealer and BMW are out to steal every dollar from their wallets but I like to believe there is a reason for certain parts, though this one has me baffled.

I know most will say the 3M Super Strong Automotive Attachment Tape - 03616 has worked fine with past spoilers and when combined with the prep wide bonds very well.

I also get that the spoiler is high kick and under more pressure but what can possibly be so special about this BMW recommended CS Spoiler tape that it cost >$150!

I have the Performance spoiler now, but on my new M2 manual Competition I keep it original.

I also don't like the the front splitter of the M2 CS.

It's all too much Boy Racer for me.
