▀▄ eas | EAS - M2C from Stock to Not - Weekend Warrior Build

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Previously coming from a Porsche GT3, E92 M3 racecar and a 800+ whp F80 M3, we already had a plan for this M2 Competition.

The odometer had <100 miles by the time we got started. Coming in at a portly 3616lbs, the M2C is by no means lightweight. The first round of mods called for a Remus Race muffler, AntiGravity LiFePO4 battery, Sparco Limited Edition Lightweight QRT-R seats with Macht Schnell Clubsport Seat Mounts/sliders, and removing the back seat shaving off 159lbs from total weight.

Stock pads were tossed and a set of Endless pads were added on all 4 corners to improve of the braking.

Second round of mods started with some MCS 1-Way Non-Remote Coilovers being added along. Ground Control camber plates and SPL arms were added in order to get the alignment dialed in. A carbon diffuser with integrated brake light was also added for style points.

BBS FI-R wheels finish off the build, while clearing the monsterous front brakes with absolutely zero clearance issues.

APR aero will be added later. We will be sure to update as as they get added. Enjoy!

Build list
- MCS 1-Way Non-Remote Coilovers
- Ground Control camber plates
- Ground Control Weight Jacks
- VRSF Downpipes
- Sparco QRT-R Limited Edition Red Ultra-Light Race Seats
- Macht Schnell Clubsport mount kit
- Remus race exhaust
- AntiGravity Battery with reStart technology
- Endless brake pads
- 19" BBS FI-R Wheels w/ Bridgestone RE71 tires

Among a world of floating rear calipers and electronic e-brakes I'm happy to see this build.

what's the reason behind keeping the stock res and secondary cats?
avoiding drone and or rasp?

Changing the battery... Do you have IBS issues? To my knowledge you will be throwing IBS codes when changing to a lithium setup.

Kevin, when you remove the back seat, did you just simply remove them and left everything as is, or did you put in some panels / liners to separate the trunk from main cabin?

I assume some weight savings for the wheels as well. Probably more if another brake kit swapped in.

Interesting choice for a CO kit. Did not know they made something like that. Probably easier to adjust height I hope. What are spring rates ?

Any way you plan to remove the understeer from this car? Its so irritating when pushed.
